Sharon is a founding partner of Rubens Nunnemaker LLP with over 25 years of experience in personal & business advisory and tax matters. Before starting Rubens Nunnemaker LLP in 2006, Sharon was a partner at Leibowitz Shumaker Berger & Rubens LLP for eight years. She has also worked at national CPA firms specializing in real estate, publishing, professional services, and the securities industry. Sharon has expertise in litigation support and has served as an expert witness in Superior Court. She has extensive experience in advising business owners of closely-held companies, non-profits and family groups.

Sharon graduated from the University of Washington, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She then went on to obtain her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1987. Sharon lives in Walnut Creek with her husband and two children. She is active in the community and is on the Board of the Directors for the Walnut Creek Education Foundation and on the Finance Committee for the Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living in Danville, California.
